Taking accurate measurements will ensure the clothes fit perfectly to their silhouette and are comfortable. Follow these tips to correctly measure your dog and choose the best size for them:

Neck Measurement
Use a tailor’s measuring tape to measure your dog’s neck circumference. Wrap the tape around the neck, just above the shoulders, ensuring it is not too tight.

Chest Measurement
Measure your dog’s chest circumference at its widest point, just behind the front legs. Position the tape so it is neither too tight nor too loose.

Back Length Measurement
Measure from the base of the neck to the base of the tail. Make sure your dog is standing straight, and adjust the tape to follow the natural curve of their back.

Leg Length Measurement
To determine the length of your dog’s front and back legs, measure from the base of the leg to the tip of the toes. Again, ensure your dog is standing upright as you measure.

Leg Circumference Measurement
If you want to buy pants or socks for your dog, you may need to measure the circumference of their leg. Measure at the widest point, just above the knee, ensuring the tape is neither too tight nor too loose.
Remember that every dog is unique, so take each measurement carefully to find the perfect clothing fit, noting it down in centimeters. Then, check the values you recorded against the chart above to compare your dog’s measurements with those of the available clothing.
